i'm looking to purchase. does anyone own a vision M that could answer a few questions. is it easy to operate? does it work with just a stereo in the car (with the adapter) or do you need to have a cd player in the car? how is the clarity of the voice recorder, say for recording college lectures? music quality? really anything you can tell me would be a help. thanks.......

I had two iPods and switched to Vision M. The best decision I ever made. It's GREAT. I can't help you with the voice recording quality, sorry, but in all other respects it's EXCELLENT. Beats iPod on all counts. And it syncs perfecty with the new WMP 11. No other software needed. And you can add, delete, drag & drop files, folders (music, photos, videos, anything) directly on the player just like any folder in your PC. I deleted the bundled Creative software because I just don't need it.
Good choice. Let's see if someone can tell you about the recording quality.
