no way when you pick up a chicken , even at night they are warm . if they were cold blooded they would only be warm if they were in the sunshine. whoever told you that dosent know a thing about chickens or turkeys.

only reptiles are dependant on outside weather to raise their body temperature-so called "cold blooded" creatures.chickens and turkeys have self-regulating metabolisms,and so,are "warm blooded."think about it-do chickens and turkeys bask in the sun for hours,like a turtle or snake ?
