What ever happend to having a meaningful relationship? I am a very caring and friendly person. I do not even have to be friends with you but I would still be caring and friendly towards you. Why is it that guys just want to have sex and leave. Where are the guys who want a meaningful relationship? Am I being to caring? How do I tell if I guy is just after sex? Can a guy want to take things slow and hide me from his friends until he knows we can have a lasting relationship?

thats not what im after. i want a relationship. its hard to tell what theyre after, but you can look at there other relationships and see what they did. and yes he can hide you from his friends but i dont think its to be mean, hes just scared that they will dissaprove or something like that, its not and insult to you though. is sex not meanifull. yes men are all dogs i dont care what they tell you they do just want sex then you marry and not get any at all. im not saying that no man wants a woman to spend time with marry etc. but when it all comes down its about sex. then you marry the one who gave you the best sex. have you ever heard of a man marrying a woman who wont give him sex. so isnt it meanigfull to men. yes men are willing to do everything else after they have had good sex. in sorry if i sound like a pig but thats how its is straght up front.so if he just dont pay no attention to you you didnt do nothing for him

Natural urge, animal instinct. Meaningful relationships normally do not happen until people get older. They want to investigate and get all they can! GO SLOW!! If he goes bye, oh well! A guy does not have to hide you till later, wrong. He should want to be with you in any situation.

First off not all guys want only sex. There are females however who make it easy for guys to get only that. You want honesty here it is. Stop trying to impress and make someoen love you by giving them sex. They will never love you if your willing to hop in the sack so easily.
Make sure they take the time and you in reverse get to know who each other is. STOP the cycle of OMG he is so cute if I got sleep with him I will never see him again. If you give it up so easily your right your still not going to see him again until he needs another booty call. And thats is all you will ever be if they leave right after you two have done the deed.
Sounds to me like you need to invest soem time in yourself and get to liking who is staring back at you in the mirror. Then you will be ready for a relationship. We are not defined by being in a relationship. Only defined by being in a mutual loving one.
My suggestion is discover who you are first. Then someone who is worthy of you will walk right into your life when you are least expecting it.

They are walking hormones and those hormones take over their brains sometimes. The way to tell if thats all he wants is if he gets angry when you say no that youre not ready. Make him wait. If he waits a good long time and is still hanging around hes probably ok. A long time is like 3-6 months.
Dont let them fool ya.

Guys have sex now because women let them. Years ago most women would wait till they were married or engaged.
Personally I would blame the women and society for it, I,like you, was brought up with values in my life.
If a guy wants sex say no, he leaves its his lost. Nice to know there still are a few decent women left!

"Guys" don't only want sex. Mindless jerks only want sex. Let the mindless ho's give it to them. The rest of us "guys" are willing to wait for the right lady, who is almost certainly one who is also willing to wait for the right guy.
Don't generalize about guys. It sounds like you are a great lady and a keeper. Try looking for better dates (somewhere new) with gentlemen with character that are worthy of you. They may be few, but they are out there. Don't settle.

Not all guys are. My boyfriend and I have been together for over 8 months, and he hasnt pressured me into anything physical. You just need to find the right guy.
