It depends on what you want to line it with and where you live. Before you pay though, go to your local home improvement store and check out the paneled shower walls. Some are as low as $40.00 on up. The home improvement store will tell you how to do it. I think they can be installed quite easily. They come in sections , with a tongue 'n groove connection and you can use liquid nails to hold in place. Or you can pay big bucks to hire contractor. Just make sure you have a GOOD contract. That can be purchased at a office supply store. If you know anything about the job, then you can write up your own contract. I always act as the contractor and sub-contract the work out. I find I'm less apt to get anything but quality when they see I know the jobs.

for us to have our bath relined completely, it was $2000, 1200 for materials 800 for labor. you can expect to buy exactly the cost of the material. so if 500$ materials. $500 a job. so on.

It all depends on the area in which you live in , for example it only cost my husband and I 250.00 to have an old claw foot tub redone.
