So my boyfriend got an x-box 2 days ago and ever since then I swear he has spent more than 15 hours playing it! I even walked out WITHOUT a shirt on and all he did was pause it and give me a kiss. Then went back to his game.. What the heck... Ok for guys.. I know that this is a new toy for him and so he wants to play with it a lot but when will it wear off so he can pay attention to me? Oh btw.. he is 21 (almost 22).

haha I'm not going to find another boyfriend and he is mature he just likes video games. And he had just a regular x-box before this and rarely ever played so I know eventually he will get tired of it. And I am anything but boring.. lol

lol, I doubt it will wear off...
I live with my boyfriend and he loves his XBOX 360...however, his playing comes in spurts, like when he first got it, or when he gets a new game.
Let him know that you want some "quality" time to be set aside for you, and if he really loves you, he will try to spend more time with you.
men at that age tend to be selfish, so they just need a gentle reminder of their priorities...
Also, learn to play some of his games. I beat his scores, so that was fun!

He'll pay attention to you soon enough. An Xbox can't replace a girlfriend. Although that Xbox 360 game "Gears of War," is pretty amazing, I must say. The distraction is the Xbox so look at it in the way that things could be worse.

it isnt the xbox 360, its the games, and it wont wear out, because he can just buy a new game. the only time he will relly stop is when he feel weird (watching a screen for 15 hours can take its toll)

this is how it works: we get a new toy, and we obsess over it for a few days or weeks. if it's not over by then, he has obsession problems and you should scram.
