I've been taking cymbalta for nueropathy, not depression. I liked it when I was taking 30 mg a day for the first 2 weeks. But after starting the 60 mg a day I began to experience dizziness as a side effect. It's slowly gotten better, but every once in awhile it hits me again. It's now been a month and I still get it every once in awhile. Is there anyone else who has had similar experiences or other side effects? If so what are were/or are they? How long did they last? Has it effected your sleeping habits? What about your attention span?
I would like to hear from others who have experience with this prescription.
Thank you :)

I HATED being on cymbalta. I was on it for depression/anxiety. It made me a bad person. I was mad all the time. I wanted to cry but I couldn't. I couldn't sleep at night, I just stayed tired all the time but couldn't sleep. I felt like it made me crazy. I quit taking it after 6 months because I couldn't deal with how it made me feel.

Honey, you need to take it more than twice. Yes, it'll make you nauseous - this time of year everyone wants to lose weight anyway, so think of it as a little boost. As for your other symptoms, they're probably symptoms of a cold or flu. I've been on Cymbalta for months and haven't had any side effects. You have to keep taking the pill if you want to feel better.

I take it for a variety of reasons: fibromyalgia pain, depression, anxiety, and ADD. I love it. I had off and on dizziness for some time. I have been taking it several years now and don't remember how long the dizziness lasted. Sorry.
