Just a quick question. Sometimes when I straighten my hair it makes it appear greasy. Is there a way to prevent it? Or does anyone know the reason for it?

Try clarifying your hair first to make sure you have all of the oils from your hair out . Use a heat protectant when you straighten. Don't completly strip your hair of its natural oils but having really clean hair works wonders when you are trying to straighten it.

I doubt it's the straightening that causes it to be greasy, it's probably a product you are using. Make sure that whenever you put something in your hair, only use a little bit.

idk how to prevent it. It may be because of ceramic. It's supposed to make your hair shine. Your hair may just already be shiney and the ceramic just makes it look greasy?

but a way to fix it is brush your hair with a boarhair bristle brush. Then, spray a little bit of hairspray to make it dull. This should keep it shiny, but not greasy, for the dya.
