its not the top top, its more like the front. hes licking and licking right there, what can i put right there to just calm the cut?

You need one of those neck cones so he cannot lick himself. You can put smome antibiotic cream but take him to the Vet because dogs can get dog herpes

Use cotton ball or piece of cotton to dab on hydrogen peroxide several times a day.

take him to the vet. the vet can treat it and pput a collar on him to keep him from licking it. a dach is just like your child. if you can't afford to take him to the vet, you shouldn't have him. don't treat it yourself.

polisporyn or triple antibiotic they come with the option of pain relief, if that doesnt work....go to the vet
