This question is the easiest one to answer yet. The very first moment you stray from the BIBLE and the teachings we find there in the NEW Testament you have started your path toward radical religious thinking. The only authority we have on this earth to follow is God's word The Holy Bible. Speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent. God gave us his word so that we would know exactly what we must do to be saved and live with Him eternally. Any other teachings THAN GOD'S is wrong.

If it is Christianity, a particular denomination, that denomination teaches you that theirs is the only "true" church and all the other denominations are going to hell. They mandate how you dress, how you style your hair, and may even make altar calls and spiritual gifts mandatory. I left a church like this because I read the Bible, and understood it. Its funny how radical relgions have their own interepretations of their own holy books. It just doesn't apply to Christianity.

you know you're a religious extremist when you find yourself aggressively poking your nose unasked and unwanted into other people's lives, when you believe that your "truth" supersedes the rights of others and when nonbelievers tell you why you are a target for their angst but you refuse to comprehend the reasons and/or you don't care about the feelings/opinions of nonbelievers but continue to whine constantly about being "bashed".
you know you're a RADICAL religious extremist when you find yourself ready and willing to cause physical/emotional harm and/or kill those who do not adhere to your dogma.

I think you become a radical about anything when you resort to trying to force it on someone else, through insults or violence.

when you blindly follow and when you can wrap your head around the possibility that death is justifiable to a nonbeliever. This is so scarey.
Good luck with this struggle. Religion can be like a narcotic if you don't stay connected to your heart, head and soul.

You are radical, when you don't let other people think or believe what they want.

When a religion that is based on love care and kindness becomes your justification for violence and killing.
