Hi there...it's best to ask some friends to borrow some money to feed the kitty cat food. There are many human food ingredients which can be uknowingly toxic to cats: http://www.peteducation.com:80/article.cfm?cls=0&cat=1276&articleid=1029
Tuna for cats is also toxic, which any vet can confirm: http://www.lenhumanesoc.org/Tips/ASPCA-Tuna.htm
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=450509
Tuna can be fatal to cats and is not something to be fed to them... The human variety of tuna fish contains an enzyme that destroys vitamin B1 (thiamine). Cats who regularly eat tuna can develop a vitamin B1 deficiency, which results in neurological symptoms like dilated eyes, loss of equilibrium, seizures and death if this vitamin is not replaced. The scientific name of this disease is polioencephlomalacia.
Clearwater veterinarian Richard Brancato said that though most
domestic cats do enjoy fish, feeding them a diet of only tuna can cause serious disorders.
Although it is high in protein, tuna lacks sufficient amounts of
certain amino acids, mainly taurine, to maintain feline health. There is insufficient calcium to balance the phosphorus; the ratio in canned tuna is 1-to-14.8. This results in bone disease.
Many essential vitamins such as A and most B vitamins are also lacking, Brancato said. A common disease in cats fed a mainstay of canned tuna is steatitis, or yellow fat disease, an inflammation of the fat tissue in the body due to a deficiency of vitamin E.
Here's also an answer by a veterinarian about the dangers of tuna to cats: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnXV7g3jq309q2QXly7n9WLsy6IX?qid=20061018194725AAzYqfz
If you have any chicken in the freezer you can boil it with and serve this which is safe, just be sure there are no bones in it before serving.

In an emergency you can tear up a slice of bread, but, for God's sake, go and get some cat food! Borrow some from a neighbor if you have to. How old are you? Did your parents set you up with emergency numbers? If so and for some reason you can't get food, call one of those people. If they didn't leave you any numbers, talk to a trusted adult or a neighbor. Cats will also eat dry dog food - you might have to break it into smaller pieces.

Don't give it milk whatever you do, they love it but its bad for them, it just goes right through them if you know what I mean. They can have tuna, or chicken, or meat but make sure the chicken and meat is cooked, and that all three don't have bones. Plus make sure that any of this stuff isn't long term food because though they can have it, cat food is still better for them.

Are you stranded? Isn't there a grocery store near you? Can a friend give you a ride to the store? Could you walk to the store? If the answer to all of these inquiries is no, cats like tuna (in water), or cooked chicken, fish (no bones), and ground beef.
