I tell my older sister everything about what's going on in my life and stuff but she's so private about what goes on in her life. We're really close and we can talk about anything. I don't understand why she keeps it from me. I feel hurt sometimes because she'll rather confide in my friends than me. Is it just an older sibling thing?

she may not feel comfortable telling you, or may feel like you will tell someone else. She may also feel a little silly discussing it with you because you're younger. It doesn't mean that she's trying to hide anything, she may just think that her friends can relate better because they're older or have already had situations that you haven't experienced yet.

I had an older sister with whom I felt a lot of trust, but as the years past I realized she in fact resented me because before I was born she was an only girl. She also had other problems that prevented her from really relating to me. The long and the short of it is, if I were you, I'd hold back a little until your sister seemed interested in being your friend, and until she was more willing to share her thoughts. Other wise you are simply setting yourself up for who knows what kind of disappointment.

everything is weird in life, nobody does anything unless it makes sense to them and you are asking for the impossible, i don't see anyone trying to cover all the bases in the game unless their dealing with insecurities now in this field called insecurities is a very large what men call a Grey area they just have a whole world full of disinformation no information lack of infrormation and discrimination so you can't realty open up anything once the way of life has you know playing both ends against the middle and your feeding off the grape vine. you are going to be busy but that's what guys do when there nagging brain starts trying to crunch all the possibilities

*It could be because your not ready to hear about her life becuase either she is doing things that are more mature then u need to hear* or she would just rather keep her life private...maybe she just has a hard time tellin ppl about herself becuase she knows the way they might act
