Religious intolerance and bigotry are sometimes motivated by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.
(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

I think catholics are more pagan now. They have a pope that dresses like liberace and would probably get more respect than if the original jesus was on earth. They Spend more money on pretentious and ostentacious churches, to attract more poor people to pay for them. They bow down before a virgin mary and have crosses with a tortured and beaten jesus on them. They have pictures of jesus all over the place that looks like some rock star, when if the real jesus came they would probably really crucify, thinking the real jesus doesn't look rock star enough for them. They have more saints than god knows what to do with them. It's amazing how the one guy who died for them is the guy who gets the least respect from them. They have an organized sturcture that only a corporation could love. And I haven't even gotten to the priest yet....that would be a whole other show.

yes, many of the beginnings and thus contunuations of the Catholic faith/ traditions have taken paganism and turned it to God. but i ask, what truly is wrong with that? everything had to have a beginning somewhere and sometimes - it's something lousy, painful or wrong -- changing wrong to make a right, changing pain into Glory.... there is nothing wrong with that.
Look at slavery - it was, it was wrong and it is no longer. doesn't mean that it didn't exist. look at segregation, it was wrong, it was changed and laws are based upon it.
God even took the sacrifices made by the pagans and jews in the temple and changed it -- He gave us His Son as the final living Sacrifice to God.

You might have failed to notice that the Catholic Church converted the entire pagan world for Christ, and continues to do so today.
Your pagan arguement is hollow and false.
Jesus Christ remains at the head of the Catholic Church, which he personally founded, and which he promised to guide and keep until he returns, at the end of the age.
Jesus keeps his promises, and is always faithful and true. He is not a powerless liar, as you seem to make him out.
You have been deceived.
Stop trying to deceive others, before you come under God's righteous judgment for your own errors.

The MAIN ISSUE you bring up is NOT to be blamed on the Catholics at all!! You're missing the whole point there, son...
Such a query should be addressed only to the Perpetrators and Originators of such practices that you speak of: It is the VATICAN and her Clergy! The Roman Catholic CHURCH in Rome ONLY [!] and NOT the Catholics of today, yesterday, or even the past generations since the Church started.
The role of the latter is merely to open their eyes so they will see, listen so they will hear, and seek so they will find. But they are NOT TO BE BLAMED nor judged by any of us!
Get it???
Peace be with you.

Because that is not what they have been taught, and they are close minded when it comes to that subject for the most part. Instead of your " warning" you need to pray that God will open their hearts to the truth. Celebrating Christmas will not send them to hell. Only rejecting the gift of salvation that is thru Jesus Christ will send them or anyone else to hell. Don't be so quick to condemn someone.

Why do so many Christians have such a hard time handling their Catholic past? LOL. You know when Protestantism was invented, right? I'm sure you wouldn't have posted such a hate-filled question without understanding where Protestant Christians came from!

Truth? As in the 'truth' about the Spanish Inquisition? As it turns out, those clerics victimized only 10% as many people as the surrounding nations typically killed and tortured. After CENTURIES of spreading lies and disinformation, why should we trust Protestants NOW?

I fully embrace my primitive, pagan past, for the Lord has made right what was once wrong. He illuminated us and showed us the way. He accepted and blessed and made a new meaning for old things. In this way, my ancestors are villified, as am I. Glory be to His Wisdom and Mercy!
