It depends on the ham, but most will say fully cooked on the wrapper. If in doubt, or looks kind of raw, cook it. I honesty think even though it is smoked, there is a possibility it may not be fully cooked, in the old days, yes, but am not sure about processing now.

If the smoked ham is fully-cooked (read the label), then it's okay. It has already been cooked and you can choose whether or not you want to heat it. However eating a pork product, such as ham, that is raw or undercooked can lead to getting "worms" aka Trichinellosis. Not a pretty sight. Be advised, the CDC say,
"Curing (salting), drying, smoking, or microwaving meat does not consistently kill infective worms."

yes if it is a fully smoked ham. when you smoke a ham the outside temp ranges from 150 degrees to 230 degrees .a ham is done after it reaches at least 140 degrees. so after 3 to 6 hours it is fully smoked
