Global warming has been discredited and it's repeated use is actually stopping people from taking notice of urgent global requirements.
It has been recognised for quite sometime that whilst some areas are warming others are getting colder making an ice age more likely!! It has also been shown that this warm/cold balance is a regular feature in the earths history.
Having said that the Earth does have a problem which scientists and the thinking politicians and media now refer to as "Climate Change". This is important because whilst the global warming model does not work, climate change is very definitely happening.
The same amount of rain is falling just somewhere different, hence floods in some areas and droughts in others. It has been shown that the melting ice sheets have been caused by a change in the weather pattern blowing warm air over the ice and melting it.
Many of the answers thought up for the discredited global warming are valid in the climate change model.
What we must do is follow good science not popular concepts. We must be sure that what we do is good and does not have a worse consequence. For example When CFC's were banned for fridges and air conditioning everyone thought that was good. But was it? The gas now being used in many systems is actual 10 times worse!!!!!!
The ecomafia could cause a disaster. Go with climate change and good science!

It's going to be the worst it's ever been in 10 years. Even if we started changing things now we would'nt see the effects for a generation due to the greed of our forefathers. Maybe in 10 years the extreme climate change will be enough of an econmic concern that there will be a global response, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. Right now people still need to be convinced that Global warming is a reality which is scary. We pour more carbon into the air than our trees can handle (the same trees we cut to make newspapers for the suits) and we still need more newspapers to be convinced that there is a problem. Sillyness.

Global warming is a very complex issue. Nowadays it has gained a lot of favor the hypothesis that the great mass of CO2 we are delivering into the atmosphere is the main cause of it. This is true, but perhaps not totally true, there are other theories far more terrific, one of these theories states that it could happen a warm and a cold age every 20 000 or 40 000 (there are geological evidence that supports it) due to changes in the Sun and the Earth magnetic field or to the precession of the earth-s axis. Let-s just remember that before any human intervention there were great forests in Greenland and also in Patagonia. If this is true, we are lost and it is just the great cosmic dance of the universe that will carry on our destiny.

Global warming is a big concern for our planet earth. According to the news, Iceland and the North Pole are melting ice which is affecting animals and plants. It is possible that the Northern States could experience a lot of flooding.

I think Global Warming is accelerating because more countries are increasing their emissions such as China and India. This doesn't just lead to hotter weather because when ice caps melt the cold water from north and south would change the currents, the contrast of cold water and hot air would cause more hurricanes, and the sea level would rise.
I suggest to store a boat in your garage.
