I read a magazine about spinach and it is not healthy at all to eat spinach from a can.
And you shouldn't leave spinach in a freezer of fridge or cabinet for very long.
In the magazine it said,
spiach killed 3 people in a sertain amount of states.
It made a LOT of people sick.
I would not eat it if you left it out for a while.
I wouldn't ever eat it from a can.
They are finding a cure for it though.
I hope that answers your question.

Sincerely,
Lirpa Flo0f

The spinach that made people sick (or die) in the U.S. was raw, like you would use in salad. The spinach that comes frozen or in a can is cooked, and you will (I can only assume) be heating it to at least 165 degrees, so, yes, it is safe to eat.

They sell spinach in a can? Ick! Why wouldn't it be safe to eat frozen spinach? Supermarkets aren't allowed to sell unsafe products. Frozen spinach passes the FDA laws so it can;t be harmful.
