electronic current used for depression called acti-slim I think?

i went to yahoo and found a herbal pill called acti slim for weight loss, but also proclaims that it might relieve depression, and other claims. of course it may relieve some depression because u are going to feel better about yourself , if u lose weight. i would caution against the use of these pills and their wonderfull claims. i have never heard of electronic current used for depression except for eletro shock therapy done in hospitals. if you are depressed seek professional help around the turn of the century there were many devices that used that used magnetic and electric current and proclaimed to have many cures they usually did not work. u can find them today in antique stores and museums as curiosities
