3 squares and a roof is all they owe you. EVERYTHING else is optional. So look around your room for a minute and think of the posters on your wall as a huge luxury and maybe you may want to contribute to your home. In fact, don't look around, just look at the monitor I am certain you did not buy--and be grateful.

Dont make a big deal about it, your world isn't gunna end if you dont have a stupid ipod nano. But the only way you can actually earn it is if you give them respect, clean the house for them or something to suck up.

Since you presumably are the genetic progeny of your parents, you are just like them, and they are just like you! How do they get you to do stuff you don't really want to do? If they have a way of doing this that usually works, if you try it on them, chances are it will work, too.

Of course you MIGHT want to save that for something a little more critical in your life than "wanting an iPod"! LOL

I say appreciate what you get, as there are many young ones who don't get anything. If you can't appreciate what you get, then that is something you will have to deal with. It is the Holidays, and it is suppose to be more about the giving not the getting. If you don't get it, get a job, then you can buy yourself one. Plus electronics are taking over young kids lifes anyways.

OK, you have let them know what you want for Christmas, but they say no. Well you will have to live with that. Save your money and buy it for yourself.

As for yelling at you a lot. I don't know how old you are, or what your situation is with your parents. If you feel that this behavior is abusive (verbally, emotionally, etc) please talk to a trusted adult, perhaps your counselor or principal at school. Good luck

there isn't any way to force your parents to buy you anything, because remember, it's their money, i can only suggest that you show them, that you deserve it, and maybe the will come again, but if u continue to pressure them, they might not buy it, show them at your working hard to get the nano. and you will be rewarded.

Get off your @ss and do something for them instead .
Show them you love them instead of always asking for stuff.

hold your breath till they say yes! Or if that does not work, poop in your pants and cry and let your mommy clean it up.

Grow up you immature little brat!
