I should have added a little more here. I have worked VERY HARD to make my credit spotless. I am 24 and have alreadly bought my first house and besides my house and a little left on my car, I am totally DEBT FREE! I am not a gold digger, I just dont want to CARRY or SUPPORT ANYONE!! I would NOT mind at all supplying official documentation for the list.

Your list is good I would add a criminal check and Aids/Hiv to the list just because a routine Std check does not cover these areas. I would also ask for a list of ex GF's to find out who dumped who and why if he is willing? How many sexual partners has he had? Has he always used protection. Has he ever been involved with another guy. Does he want kids if that is something you wan't?

If you're planning on getting serious with or marrying this guy then I'd hope you know these things. For casual dating, this might be overkill. If you do decide to impliment the list, I'd do it gradually after you've seen him a few times, otherwise he'll probably run and think you're nuts. Would you have a problem with any sort of pet?

There is an old saying that my Grandmother used to tell me. It goes "Summer and Winter him". What that means is know, really know, a man for at least a year before marrying him. By the end of that year, you should have answers to all your question. By the way, I absolutely love your list, and may use it in the future!!

I assume you would be agreeable with having the potential partner do this same check on you, right?

I feel you on all of that. But bottom line. How do you ask someone to give all of these things when you are just getting to know them. Now, if your talking marriage then ABSOLUTELY...

Add Aids/HIV check
(not only sexually transmitted, ergo does not fall under STD umbrella)
