What do u think of Interracial Dating?

this is like my 5th time answering this question on here lol but my opinion is that its ok and the fact that someone would go out with someone of a different race, when it isnt so common, says something about their personality....that theyre open minded and can look beyond ''barriers'' to see love for what it really is. Same goes for, people dating outside their religions, and gay people...etc the list goes on :)

p.s. Thats why people with a whole lot of races mixed in them are so beautiful lol ... People are rewarded when they can look beyond physical things :)

I think there are certain realities having to do with interracial dating that people need to take into account. There is incredible difference by race for things like STDs, children out of wedlock, drug use and violence.

Let me say, there is nothing intrinsically wrong with interracial dating. However, race can be one of the most reliable warning signs for things you want to avoid in a partner. You don't necessarily use this criteria to discount someone. But, you would be a fool not to be extra vigilant.

As a "white guy", I live in the greater Motown area, closer to Pontiac than Detroit. I think there is a gargantuan inequity re white gals who date black guys vs. black ladies that date white guys with the latter almost nonexistent. I guess it's more 'doable' for a white gal to assimilate into a black's man culture than vice-versa. Am i saying I object to interacial dating, nah. And besides, I apologize for just making this a white-black issue. It just came to mind. Hey if you get the chance, see that Pocahantas movie out on DVD (can't remember the title off hand). That's my great 17th power granny and the movie is pretty much factual albeit a bit dry. When one of my aunts retired she dedicated her retirement to the family tree, I'm tellin ya she went to libraries, gravesites, town hall record depts. etc. Anyway, good question. Later :)

I think it's awesome. I would definetely go there if I could find a black woman that I enjoyed spending time with. As a matter of fact. I am going to try and catch me a French-Canadian and I am a White American. I have been up to Canada before and my eyes popped out, jaw went to the floor, and tounge came out like in the cartoons. I was amazed at what my eyes were beholding.

I can be open-minded about it. BUT.. keep in mind there are differences in white & black people. Too many iteracial couples have offspring w/out going together long enough and the results are the same white girl w/mixed kids single mother for life. Poor. The professional types seem to do ok!! why ??because they date long enough to understand each other.

I would like to state that interracial dating does not consist of black and white...

My husband and I are interracial, he is white Jew and I am east Indian Muslim

I think its NOT!! Causes too many problems not only for the couple but for their families on both sides not to mention the children that spring from this type relationship. They don't fit in in either race and have a hard time. Pops

Interracial dating is fine as long as their culture and beliefs don't clash with yours.

It is a preferance to what you like. I look at some blacks and think they are hot. But my favorites are white with long hair. There are some I might go out with as friends but just could not imagine doing anything with them

I think interracial dating is alright because they love each other.
People who interracialy date shouldn't care what others think, if you really love that person then it was meant to be.
