It is "KOiL" in Tamil not Kuil as one reader has written.Madurai Meenakshi temple is one of the largest temple in Area with 4 Gopuams, each with thousands of Idols in it.Tirupathi temple is one of the Richest Temple-One day income is 1,00,000 Indian Rupees(=U.S.$2500 per day).the jewels adorning the Main Deity (Idol abot 5 ft high) in pure Gold and most 9 kinds of precious stones like Diamond-Ruby-Emerald-Topas-Pearl-Coral etc is 3,00,00,00,000 Indian rupees(=U.S.$ 6,00,00,000)

we go to temples, build with hindu architecture. God is at the center of the sacred building.
