I have made several prayer requests (check my profile) for my close friend April, who has been in the hospital for more than 4 months. She was in a coma for over a month, after her cowardly ex b/f gave her a severe concussion.

Doctors weren't sure she would ever come out of coma and they claimed she had 65% permanent brain damage, with very little chance of any significant recovery.

I found this very difficult to accept, as April certainly didn't deserve to suffer so much at such a young age (23). I prayed that God would help April fully regain her health, and I had faith that she would be healed.

For those who have offered their prayers & kind words to my previous requests, you have my sincere thanks ...... April came out of her coma about a month ago, and she is showing steady improvement as time passes. She is now able to recognize close friends & communicate with them : )

All Praise be to God !

April is still dealing with serious mental & emotional issues as her mind is flooded with terrifying memories of her attack, along with horrible thoughts of being abused by her father throughout her childhood years. She is also still in severe pain, has vision problems from head trauma, and can't remember how to use her right arm ....... So please continue to keep her in your prayers to give her the strength she needs to overcome her medical problems.

Thanks again & may God Bless each of you

I can give you a good medical miracle from God. Back in April, my brother was found in a coma with a Blood Sugar of 10. He was hospitalized in an ICU unit on a vent. The Dr's said they could find nothing wrong with him, as he had no past history of diabetes and after entering the hospital his blood sugar was normal. They didn't expect him to come off the vent and was talking about putting a tracheostomy in his neck. All of the church members where we attend church began praying for him day and night. After a few days he was completely off the vent without the Dr's doing anything to help this. After a few weeks, he was walking again, talking again and eating on his own. Again all to the Dr's surprise. They were totally baffled by it. After about 3 weeks in the hospital he was released to go home and is still doing very well. There's nothing God can't do!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless you & your friend and I will keep her in my prayers.

I don't. Our punishment inherited from Adam is death. The solution of death is not to happen until the resurrectio after Armageddon. I do believe in prayer to bring the spirits up during time of distress.

The human brain is a wonderful creation, it creates new connection where it can to bring back the comatose patient back to conscousness. Some took decades to complete.

I DO! I was told a month ago that I had cervical cancer, two weeks later I had another biopsy done. The cancer was GONE! The doctor didn't quite know what to say about it. Some people argue that it's something that the doctors do that cures, not God. Who do they think created the doctors?

I'm glad your friend is getting better, but a 35% chance of recovery is hardly a miracle. I would thank the doctors and modern science instead - without their care, would your friend be alive at all?
