If i buy a T-Shirt and it is too small, Does the shop have the right to only issue me with a Credit Note instead of a refund even though they don't have a bigger size. I have receipt, labels still on T-Shirt and bought only 2 days ago.Why should i have to buy something else from that shop.(Shop is Sports Soccer)

Most shops would give you a refund. However sport and soccer permanently get around this because of a loophole in the law. You do not have to give a refund on sale items. Was your t-shirt reduced in price? They only have to give you a credit note or exchange if it was. If it was full price, you may have a case. But i think most of their items are sale items. That in itself is a bit of a con as they should offer them full price for so many weeks in store before putting them in the sale. I bet their stuff comes in with the sale price already on it! (that's breaking the law).

If the item isn't faulty then they have no law that requires them to refund, exchange or give you a credit note. Apparently they would be doing you a favour to allow you to hand the goods back at all. Faulty goods are the only ones we have rights with. Wrong size is not seen as a faulty. When it automatically happens in many shops, it is their goodwill.
Having said this I think it is pathetic! and the t shirt might suddenly become faulty if it were mine. Funny how the law usually encourages to be honest.

you have a right to a refund as long as it is the origanal condition it was bought in - as you say it has all the labels and you have the receipt you qualify. the only time they can issue with a credit note is if you lost the main receipt but paid by card. if you dont have any receipt as you paid by cash the store doesnt have to do anything as you have no prove of purchase

Did you know, that customers are entitled to money back, upto 7 years later. That's the law, but where I work, we give only 28days. Anyway going back to your question, I too have had this experience with this shop, I was gobsmacked, so I took the credit note. The second time I went for an exchange, the man in front kicked up a fuss, and they put the money back onto his card, well I wasn't having that, lol so I too joined in his fuss, and got me money back.

Merchants are under no legal obligation to give refunds or exchanges on merchandise that the purchaser changes their mind about or made a mistake in purchasing.

Refund/exchange/credit policies are up to the store.

It is simply not true that stores are obligated to give you a refund for up to 7 years. It is also not the case that they are obligated to give you a refund up to 7 days or 14 days or 28 days or any other time period.

sport soccer only issue credit notes....friend used to be a manger there, you can ask for a full refund but it has to be referred to head office etc etc.
the reasoning behind is that they get alot of people stealing from there store then taking it back asking for a refund.
