Sometimes go to KFC or a warm cafe for coffee

Do they sound like good dates?

Ok.....I don't know about eating a fish supper "while" you walk sounds so great on any date but hey, if she doesn't mind it the go for it. You may want to stir clear of alot of cheap restaurants for all of your dates though, you may get a reputaion of being too cheap. If money is an issue then think about the possiblity of preparing a meal yourself for her.

A coffee house is always a nice place to go to talk to your mate or to get to know a potential mate as is a walk around the neighborhood (if it is a good neighborhood that is)or even at the park. Again if money is an issue or having her to your place is an issue then take a picnic to the park or a nice area.

Most importantly try to have a good conversation and listen to your date. Don't do all the talking.

Good Luck

I don't know about eating while you walk, but the rest sound great. What about doing the walk, and taking the food with you to a nearby park or school playground? KFC is delicious, but if your date isn't like me, then maybe you should try finding a hometown mom and pop fried chicken joint instead, it seems a bit classier, i think because it's showing what a local business that maybe you don't think about too often has to offer. As for a cafe, don't go to starbucks, it's too stuffy for a date. If you're sticking with a coffee shop, go to a smaller chain or a local shop. The key to good dates is creativity and limited use of resources (by that, I mean doing different things as much as possible.)

hope this helps!

She'll love that. Walking around your ghetto in her high heels as ketchup drips on her Gucci dress from your 99p Fishcake.

You don't have to spend much money, but why not find a groovy bar with comfy seats and an open fire. It's better to relax and chat away, without boy racers zooming past you as you pound the local streets.

KFC & a walk doesn't show much thought or make someone feel special. That's my opinion anyway.

yeah that sounds like a good date, fish supper kfc or a coffee are all good. one of the best dates i had was a coffee form the centra as we sat beside the liffey at 5 in the morning. its worth a hundred meals in a swanky resteraunt. cheap hell yes, but that was with my now fiance. we still picnic on the river, romance does'nt cost a penny.

It's one of those sad, fickle girl things - it depends one who you're on the date with! I know plenty of women who would be annoyed at this kind of date, but an equal amount of them who would love it.

The questions you should ask yourself are - how well do you know the gal, what kind of a date is it (are you trying to get to know her better or do you want to have a good time) and are you taking her for granted or deliberately taking her on a cheap date?

Personally, I would have loved to go on a date like that with someone I really fancied. To be safe though - give her some flowers (they don't have to be expensive) before you walk over to the chippy so she knows you think she's special.

Ya they sound like pretty good dates but the talking has to be good. If the conversation sucks then its just awkward. I also think that you should mix in with those dates some really fun and exciting dates as well. You don't want her to get the feeling that you feel like friends and just friends even though your on a date.

Yeah I think so, just taking a nice walk. Having a picnic in the summer or eating fish and chips in the winter :-) it's nice just to spend some time with someone if you decide you like them and if you are walking theres no other distractions and you know you have the other persons attention which is nice.

A date doesn't mean going to those expensive resorts, it merely means an outing for two people who want to explore each other mentally and physically. So I don't see anything wrong in doing any of the above.

No. Thats not really a "date" thats just spending normal time togther. A date is when you make an effort splash out a bit and do somthing romantic!
