christians can't accept it as proof of evolution? We know the genetics DNA markers that make us human, we know what markers make the Homo ergastor and Homo erectus our ancestors. Why can't cristians accept this over a work of fiction that says otherwise?

Because to accept that humans are no more than another species of animals on this planet would, in their minds, diminish our importance...

They are vain and arrogant. They don't want to accept that we are nothing more than mammals of the great ape variety.

Furthermore, they don't want to accept that this lifetime is all there is to our existence. They are afraid, so they hide under the comfortable myths of religion.

Because no one has shown me how DNA proves Darwinian evolution. But I might try learning some science, I've always hated it and thought it boring, but maybe the college professors can explain it better than high school. Maybe I'll end up liking it.

I don't know. If God exist, then the Bible seems more like a test on our ability to exercise free will and intelligence. The Bible seems more like a true or false test than anything else, one that I think most fundamentalist are failing.

It seems incredible to me that anyone questions evolutiion in the 21st Century. It used to be only redneck crackers thought that way.
