A part of many pagan beliefs not to hate others, but tolerate and love them. Many pagans are more centered around trying to find themselves and having a respect for nature. We don't generally try to force others into believing the same as we do and we believe that the same path isn't right for everyone.

Maybe it's all the time we spend in the woods!
If you're a nature oriented pagan, you see the way the world keeps going; the rivers keep flowing, the trees keep growing, the animals live, reproduce and die... It goes on and on... It makes you realize how petty and unimportant our little worries are.
The mountains will still be standing tomorrow.

Because there are fewer of them, they're less mainstream. I find that the witches I know all have different beliefs, they're all individuals with a common idea of life. They don't unite against people or try and convert. They have no reason to do so.

Acceptance of others as they are, lack of a belief that there is only one "true" way to worship, lack of the need to proselytize. In general, Buddhists and Hindu are also very peaceful people.

Because pagan faiths don't say that to be rewarded, you have to be a strict observer of pagan faiths. Also, most pagan faiths have reverence for nature, and life, which should naturally lead to peacefulness.
