Dear Batteries,

There is subastantial Biblical evidence to indicated that the rapture will occur on the last day--Judgment Day. This will coincide with the end of the world also. But look at these verses:

1. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
2. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53
3. John 5:28-29
4. John 6:39, 40
5. John 6: 44, 54
6. John 12:48

The Bible also tells us that the true believers will go through the Great Tribulation. In fact we are going through it right now! Please do not thin that there are going to be weird things flying around that have scorpion stings in their tails to torment men for 6 months. Remember that the Lord spake in parales (Mark 4:33, 34). However, all these statements are true but one must derive the spiritual meaning by comparing Scripture with Scripture (1 Corinthians 2:13). According to all the information we have at this time, it appears that 2011 may be the year that Christ returns. That would mark the end of the world and Judgment Day. Take a look at 2 Peter 3 and compare it to Genesis 7. "For many are called, but few are chosen."

That is my point of view.

Matthew 24:36-44

36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

There are other points of view - some think that the rapture will be in the middle of the 7 year Tribulation period - others think that it will be at the end, when Jesus comes back physically to rule the Earth.

The rapture will take place before the tribulation. During the tribulation is when people will either take the Mark of the Beast or accept Jesus and die for their faith. Christians will not have to face the trib.

If you read Revelations you will read that the rapture happens before the tribulation. It will be horrible beyond belief, and Christ will come to take us away so that we do not have to suffer because of it.

I hope so.I just can't imagine going through the trials and tribulations before going with Jesus. SCARY!!! Hopefully we'll get swooped up in mid-air before all this chaos.

No...I don't believe in either. How very sad that people have to live in fear of this. The God I believe in would not subject his children to fear tactics so that they believe in Him. If that's what your bible has preached to you you may want to take a real strong look at where your religion comes from. Is it truly the word of God or is the word of man who has tried for decades to keep you and all children of the true God under their thumb?

padwinlearner is your answer---again. she knows what she's talking about.

i can't imagine facing the tribulation myself. I don't want to, so I walk in truth and live my life the same way. as long as i do that, I have nothing to fear.
