if the rapture or what ever ies call, happens will one the church going christends go to heaven?
what about the drugaddict who has a shitty life because they were abused as a child and thus left home and got out in to postution and after all these years of misstreatment still believes in god and jesus but does not realize it?

A lot of people believe in God but haven't accepted him as Lord and Savior. I had a crappy home life when I was growing up but I accepted God. God gives everyone the opportunity to live with him FoREVER but they have to make that choice. Jesus knows the life of that addict/prostitute but if she is not willing to change her ways and accept him, she will not be caught up in the rapture.

The rapture is for saved people only. Salvation is trusting 100% in Jesus to take you to heaven when you die or when He comes back, and believing Jesus is the Son of God who died on the cross to pay for the world's sin to save anyone who will trust in Him from Hell and take them to Heaven. Once you are saved and sincerely accept Jesus into your heart you are always saved.

This is comparing apples to oranges. You are saved when you except Jesus Christ, and will go to heaven with him when the rapture happens. It means Jesus is coming back for the christians who have accept him as their savior.

The pre trib rapture will not take place. Christ is only coming back once not twice and that at the end of it all.
