I work with this guy who I have built a strong friendship. He really loves his wife. I have a boyfriend who I love and there is no romantic link between me or my coworker. He talks about her all the time, how much he loves her. He told me she hurt him alot by not returning his call, or dissapearing at night. Last night, after an argument (she said she didnt love him anymore) she left and didn't return home. What can I do

Just be there as a friend. Other than that there is really nothing you can do. Be careful though, even though he loves her alot your "being there" for him may cause him to redirect his feelings and after awhile your boyfriend may not understand. Keep it above board, and be there as a friend and supporter. Don't aide in putting his wife down because if they end up back together it will put a rift inbetween you two. Good luck, and I think it is great that you are there for him and care enough to ask. The world would be a better place if more people thought that way.

Just be there for him. Let him know you care. Lend him your ears and let him get it all out of his systems. It's going to take awhile. Give him a hug and let him know everything will be alright. Maybe go out and have a drink or two. There is nothing wrong with crying to make the pain go away. All he can do is remember the good times they had. Try to move on. It's gonna take time but he can do it.

There's not realy alot you can do - you can't get his wife to come back to him. Just be there for him, and listen when he wants to talk. Go out and do things to take his mind off the situation, but mainly, just be a friend

You can be there for him for support. Let him know that he can come and talk to you about his feelings with her and you'll try as much as you can to give him some advice. Be that shoulder that he can lean on when he's down. As long as you know right from wrong and you're not contemplating cheating, then there's nothing wrong with being there for someone when they need help.

You can't do anything. You should stay out of it. I know of a similar situation where this happened and the lady who wanted to help her friend ended up dumping her boyfriend and having an affair with her "friend".

Just be there for him , even just talking with someone that is there to listen is helping... a shoulder to cry on . He might even start talking about what he should do and answer some of his own questions.....

Let him know that you are there to support him no matter what. Encourage him and tell him that a woman like his wife is not deserving.

If she left for good, well the sooner the better, if she comes back, he must be ready and sure of his own reaction

There's not much you can do other than help him handle his sadness and try to help as much as possible. There's nothing you can do when a friends spouse is unfaithful.

why do you feel there is something for you to do about this? This situation is not about you and your needs to intervene--leave it alone and let it play out.
