Ok my crush's dad passed away, and i emailed him about how if he ever wanted to tak i would be there, and how he's strong, and i admire him...etc. Well right now he's on msn, I said hi to him before, but he didnt answer, a few minutes later he went off! Now he's on again...should I try and start a convo...with the traditional hi....or should I just leave him alone? Please NO rude comments!

Yes just say you are thinking of him and to let you know if he needs anything, then if he doesn't respond leave him alone

Just say something like "Hi, how you doing? Would you like to talk?"
Be prepared for no reply though, as he may be too raw to talk just yet. As long as he knows he has a friend (and mebbe more) in you who is willin to listen and be there for him, the ball's in his court. Don't keep hassling him everytime he's on MSN, or you could drive him away. Good luck and my condolences to your crush :)

Yes, say, hi, be very kind and supportive, don't say too much because really what can you say, unless you have lost a parent before. Be more of a listener. You are very kind, most people run from grief.

i would try talking to him again, but say more than just hi. ask him how he is doing and ask him if he feels like talking. if he does not respond this time, then give him a few days, he is still coping with the death of his father.
