what is love to you? while others see love as emotion, i see it as a decision. it is natural to have feelings for opposite sex but that is not love. feelings [emotion] come and go but when you decide to do something you adhere to it. the kind of love [ feelings] you have for him will make you be blind to seeing things in his life you know are not right. when you are drunk you seem not to know what you are doing but when you come to your senses you face reality. to me you know you are in love when you have studied and come to a conclusion that you can stay with this person even though i know he has not met with all i want in a partner. be honest to yourself, will you still love him if you discovered he has got AIDS. love is when you make up your mind to continue with him even when you know he will certainly offend me.

The longer you have butterflies the better is what I think :) I'm happy to hear you have such strong feelings for your boyfriend. Having butterflies would be the being in love. Loving someone on the other hand is different. Not that you cant have butterflies there, but it just goes deeper. Loving someone means that you cant live without them, that your day is not the same when they're not around, and that you will always be there for them. I think when all of this is the case with you, you truely love your boyfriend.

It depends on how old you are. If you are 13 years old it's just puppy love. Can you see yourself spending the rest of your life with him, in sickness and in health? Love is so wonderful in the beginning. I don't care how much you love him now, life will change it and make it better or worse.

it is when you are with that person that you feel complete or feel relaxed and comforted, this doesn't mean that you will not have disagreements. this is what i learned from a friend.. you don't really love her/him everyday, but you have to say it everytime. You'll eventually notice this in the time you need hiim/her.

You have doubts and real love, a love that goes beyond infatuation, has no doubts. If you love him, you'd never have to ask this question here. Maybe you will love him some day, but when you do, you'll be telling him, not asking us.
