There is, and cannot be, true "freedom of religion". If someone believes that their religion requires them to murder others, this will not be allowed.
Interesting that islamic terrorists fall neatly into that category, but it is not just them. Christians who bomb abortion clinics, Satanists who believe in human sacrifice, and others will have their freedom of religion curtailed.

we do have a freedom of religion, it means that our Government can not force us to practice any one religion. It does not say that other people won't say or do mean things to you! I personally am Agnostic. But sorry to tell you that Muslims are not the only persecuted people in the good ole' US. Lets take up that Jews, Atheists, Agnostics, Wican, Pagan, Blacks, Gays and Women etc etc are being or have been persecuted by the masses for years. That freedom is important because it allows those of us who are "different" that the mass majority to think and try to change things to better the Nation as a whole. So stand in line and your persecution will end eventually!

Back in the early 1600's, people who were persecuted for their religion in Europe came to colonize the "New World", and formed a nation WITH freedom of religion. That seems not to be taught in our schools much, anymore, huh? Have a happy day.

Muslims have the right to practice their religion freely in the United States.
Unfortunately their are some idiots that are bigoted, but that has nothing to do with the laws.
Can the same be said about Saudi Arabia?
