would be rejected outright because your belief is extremely different from the asker? Or would you still answer because you want to bring your message across?

I do, because it feels good - as long the question is sincerely asked with no other motive(insult, ridicule).

Yes i ,ll still answer infact i usualy answer such question where the asker has completly different point of view, and that is just to convey my message inspite of knowing that it would be rejected, Well i m muslim and i usualy asnwer anti-islamic question just to tell the asker that wht he/she is thinking is wrong and truth is like that.and unfortunatly mostly that come out a useless try becuse most of the questions are not meant to know but to bash the religion
but yes i realy feel good to asnwer those question where the asker is sincerely seeking the answer.and is not meant to insult.

I have to answer a question in the way that I believe Jesus Christ would if He were answering Himself. I have to answer to Him eventually for the words I choose. I can't give an answer simply for the sake of making the asker feel good or "right" when I know what they are saying is wrong. It's not so much that I feel I have a point to prove but there is a soul there that needs to be saved. Jesus Christ Himself was an extremely controversial character. If I am to be Christ-like then I am controversial as well. I'm ok with that.

I read the previous answers and if someone has given what I imagine the right answer to be, I generally don't answer. I know that our answers go the askers email and have consideration for them.

Dear seeker,Our "gut"feelings you mention can be recognized as our "Spirit" or" inner self".
If it be that the Holy Spirit lives within,it is a very good idea to listen to that"gut" feeling....After reading a book by R.A.Torey called "how to pray",I understand better now just what is going on inside now.God Bless you as you seek Him

You need to let the asker know that there are other views in this world, so answer away.

Yes. I'm a Christian and my belief is really with the Bible and different from Christendom and it's human traditions, world philosphy, atheism , and other religion against the Bible. I see most as false religion.

I believe in One God the God of the Son Jesus as Jesus preached and not that Jesus is God himself.

There is no need to be vulgar to express one's views. In some cases, one's views might be offensive not so much in the way one expresses them but in the content. I always try to be respectful of others but let's face it, everyone is hurtful at one point or another.

God guides me as to what to say. the Bible says to always be ready to give an account of him when the opportunity exists. I don't care if people disagree with me. God commands me to tell others about him and share with them how he loves them too..That's all there is to it. The Bible also says that if you suffer for the sake of Christ you will be blessed.
