im 12...my boyfriend has been telling my friends he wants to kiss me. I've kissed one person before in my life and that was just a peck. I don't know what to do! I wanna just say ok and go for it. But i don't know how to or wether i can or anything....no mean answers please...thnx!

hey, don't worry about it so much. it is totally natural. has he ever kissed anyone? even if he has, no first kiss is perfect. do you want to kiss him???? if you do, then go for it. if he already told you that he wants to, then there is no embaressment of him not wanting to kiss you back. i'm sure you'll like it and want to do it a lot more, but till you have the first one, you'll be missing out the longer you wait. I am going through the exact same thing. I really like this guy and he feels the same way and I really wanted to give him a kiss last night because he basically saved my little sisters life. But I held back because I didn't know how he would react. I just gave him a great big hug. First kisses are always awkward, always have been and always will be. I have not had my first kiss yet, but if you really like him then try it. If all goes well then you will be less nervous if you kiss again. If not, there are always second chances and second tries. Sweetheart, why are you concerned about kissing some old nasty boy that may give you a cold, fever blisters (a type of herpes), sore throat, mono and a host of other diseases???
However, I will tell you what a young person's kiss should be like. This is my thoughts of a good beginner's kiss:
Part your lips SLIGHTLY (or keep them closed) and allow the lucky boy to gently place his lips on yours. Both of you, give a SLIGHT suction to create a "smack" and you have done it. DO NOT and I repeat, DO NOT try to eat him alive by opening your mouth as wide as you can. Either closed or slightly parted lips. No french kissing where each of you try to tickle the other's tonsils!!! NASTY and a NO NO!!! Good luck. Pops

Your first kiss will feel weird, because its a new experience. but the best advice I can give you about kissing, is forget advice. Do what feels right, kiss the way you'd like to be kissed. But if you want a few tips: Don't rush, a kiss should last for ever. You don't need to put your tongue in his mouth staright away. kiss him a bit first.

Haha, just try going for it. That's really all you can do, i think the saying is "The first kiss, resembles the future of the relationship" or something like that. So if it's a great kiss then yipee!!! if it sucks, sorry bout your luck kid.

when I was younger I was scared to kiss for the first time but what I did was just waited until it was the right time for me and I didnt do it becuz the other person wanted me to. So honey take ur time u are still young.......

dont worry about it.
im 15 in december and i STILL havent gotten my first kiss.,
its not something you want to rush or something that should feel awkward. when the time comes, it will happen. if ur not ready let him know, just simply say "im not ready," or "not now".
but when you're ready, go for it!

kissing depends on the person, but conidering your age, i would advise not letting him french kiss you, because that means he's after something else. wait till you are older for that. for now, stick to just kissing. when you both are ready for it, just explain to him that you don't know how to kiss (if hes your age, he should might the same), and just go wit da flow
