I enjoy a nice personal size pizza with shrimp, black olives and mushrooms. Mostly, I buy canned or fresh Money's mushrooms at home. I do not like portabello mushrooms, but anything Italian is a hard sell with me. I like traditional Japanese dried shitake mushrooms, soaked in water, chopped and fried with some garlic, gingerroot and soya sauce. Especially good with grated carrots, diced green pepper, sauteed tofu, shrimp paste and white rice.

I do I think mushrooms are the best in vegetables to have on pizza
I prefer portabellos with black olives (sometimes I add green peppers)
the fast food restaurants only carry one kind so sometimes I make the pizza myself with portabellos
Happy to hear someone else loves mushrooms on pizza besides me

also I eat in my local pizzeria a 3 cheese 3 mushroom pizza that is to die for.

Mushrooms are my favorite pizza topping. If I am getting a pie just for myself, it's usually just cheese, mushrooms,and sauce.

love it! Mushrooms work with just about anything tomatoey or Italian! Mushroom Parmesan is a good example:
