First, stop thinking Mexico is a country stuck in the middle ages: it is not. Mexico has good colleges, good hospitals, good doctors... just like evere other does. The same about cuba. Cuba can be a doomed country but their level on medicine is quite high.

You go to a major hospital in mexico and you will get the same that in a major USA hospital, just that cheaper. And that goes for almost any other country in Latin America.

If you get anything done in a foreign country, you are not protected by US laws....so if it goes badly....there is nothing you're being a citizen of the US can do...except hire an international lawyer at about $600/hour......as they laugh at you.

Just think of all the goods imported. Once they are sold to us, we are protected if the good or services are bad, or don't work!
