Age difference is one of the big issues in relationships. It's quite natural for his people to dissaprove but if you love each other and can fight for your love then go on.However, the love you get from him may not be the same with time since you'll age earlier.Have you womdered why oldmen love young girls?their taste in women does not deplete as they grow old.You may still love him but he will not love you that much when you start having wrinkles before he does.Think very wisely and make a good decision because in case of trouble you will be the only victim since his family is already against the relationship.Good luck

If you are both over 21 then it really should be just between the two of you. They say that relationships are really a 50-50 shot these days. That is true even when there isn't an age difference and the couple seems really well matched. So who's to say being close in age guarantees it working out and having a big age difference guarantees it won't? Also, who's to say how long each of us is given on earth? You could outlive him and give up some years of being happy with him because of all the what if's in the future. You two decide---no one else.

I have known a few people where the wife is 10 to 20 years older than the husband and their marriage was great. It is upseting to the parents of course because they want grandchildren. That should be talked out between the two of you before you decide to tie the knot. Talk out everything and have a clear plan of where you want to be with each other in 10-20 years. Hopefully not divorce court.

Age shouldn't be a problem. If a guy is younger it is okay, if it's the other way it's okay. I don't think that an age difference should ruin a relationship. If you two really like each other than stay together. Your parents and friends should not have any say in your feeling towards someone. If they really care for you they would not argue with your decision in who you like. Who you like is who you like. Nobody can change that. Good luck.

Do you think of him as younger than you or do you look at him as a person equal to you? Who cares what his or your family says, it's your life. My parents are 7 years apart. You don't see a 16 year old dating a 9 year old, but as you get older, it becomes let meaningful. A 45 year old and a 52 year old? No big deal.

Do they have to live with you? No. Age is just a number. If you two were to let something as small as a number break you up, you obviously were quite naturally, not meant to be together.

it all depends on how people see love and marriage. why do you love this guy? do you realy have true love for him? are you sure the age difference will allow you respect and submit to him? i know the women are talking about women emancipation but the reality is that naturally men feel they are "supperior". it is not that they are trying to subdue the women. believe me somethings cannot be changed. when the lady is older the marriage dont always last. love is not blind but sees. open your eyes wide and make sure your relationship with this guy will last

Dont let what others think get in the way, if he is happy and you are equally as happy, it will all work out. He has to live as a mature adult male and not as a child under mother's skirt!!!!!!!!! Assuming you are both adults to start with.
