farkas419...when you see Franz Jansen again, will you tell him please that you shared his story with the world, and that I, an American named Amy whose father helped to liberate the concentration camps in Germany, extend my love to him. Thank you so much for sharing this story.

There's a really special man at my church who did/said the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.
A little background on him:
His name is Franz Jansen. He's a well-known person here in Germany, even if people don't know his name. Every day he can be seen outside either our military post, or at Ramstein or Vogelweh, waving signs and American flags at every car that passes by.
He's been doing this for YEARS, ever since he became an adult, pretty much.
He's now almost seventy, but still going strong. Only thing is, he's dying. He has inoperable prostate cancer...and he's fading fast. We're all just hoping he makes it to Christmas, so he can sing Silent Night for us in English, German, and his native tongue, Slovenian, at least one more time.
Anyway, so I just started going to this church. I had no idea that Franz attended...but I've always wanted to meet him. What he does for our guys is just the most selfless, incredible thing that a person can do right now. Those who know him and know his story love him. (He was rescued from a concentration camp by American soldiers, and has loved them since.)
So anyway, I went up to him and introduced myself. He looked at me with the kindest brown eyes I've ever seen, clasped my hands, and said four words that make me weepy just thinking about them: "I'll pray for you."
I know, it seems like such a small, silly thing...but here is a man who is DYING...and yet, he is selfless enough that he prays for everyone in that church, and loves every one of us.
That was his gift to me. I'll never forget it.

My Girlfriend asked me to come and live with Her even though I have no job or employment prospects because I'm from a foreign country. She's shown me unconditional Love. The only other Person in my life that did this is the Woman who adopted me when I was six years old. Life is wonderful, just when it seems like complete shyt; if You never give up hope! Thank You for asking, it;'s good to count ones blessing and never forget that You've got them!!!!!

aside from the spiritual or religious and yet not completely. In 1995 there was a young gal who fell head over heals for me (and I for her,) , and gave me all those things a man needs all at once, respect, acceptance, appreciation, approval, adoration, and all of those and the gift of her virginity as well and for 6 months life was very wonderful (at that time I had plenty of money enough that people accused me of being too generous) and then her manic phase was over and she slipped into a deep depression from which she has yet to recover. Her mother b4 her likewise suffers from prolonged periods of depression vacillating in and out of catatonic states. Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved.

ha!what a great question!the gift of the Pagan life.I have never felt more happier than i do now!and i am glad that i chose this Pagan Path.at first i wanted into this religion because of spell casting.but as the months grown in me,i learned through the Goddess that being a Pagan it is not right to do mean to others with spells and magick.I have always wondered how it felt to be a witch,or a dark witch in my terms.well i got my answer.it is peaceful.a peaceful feeling with love for the earth and everybody in it.i thank them each night b4 i go to bed for what They gave me.i hope that this post that i have sent out to you and to the others will change your minds forever on how you think about us witches and Pagans. With this in mind i leave the thought in mind that we are not satanists,we see no evil,we do not believe in evil.We believe in love and life.our learnings are that we speak little, but listen much.
blessed be from the Highest,

Many, many years ago, I was a young mother, raising 2 children by myself. Some one left me a box of groceries on my porch.
I never knew who did it, or the reason, other than I needed the
food. I never did find out who it was. And believe me I tried.
I Will always bless this person, because they helped me when
I needed help the most.
Thanks for reminding me.

I remember one day I had had a big fight with my mom and I was sooo upset - I just couldn't stop crying. I was supposed to go to the dr later that day and when I got there I was still too upset, so I cancelled there in the waiting room and left. A woman I had never seen before came out after me calling for me to wait - I thought I had dropped something. She came up to me and she just hugged me for a good long time while I cried and cried. I never knew her name or saw her again, but I really appreciated it. Thanks for reminding me!

Peace!

Well, when I was raising my kids on my own (a long time ago) I had a washer and dryer delivered to my door, already paid for. When I asked who bought it, they said it was an anonymous donation. God bless those people!

Pray for me without ceasing and to be there to listen to me when I most needed a friend - to let me know that I have value and am not the "broken part that can be replaced" that my husband told me that I was. They gave me my life back.
