They have found that weighing yourself daily can help improve the chances of sticking to a weight loss regimen. There is also evidence that diets and gimmicks and quick weight loss plans do not work. Healthy diet of small portions and healthy caloric intake in addition to exercise is what works.
My own personal view? First, don't think of it as weight loss. You want to embrace a healthy lifestyle and the ideal you. If weight loss is a chore and a punishment, then deviating from or failing the program is a habit that anyone who went through childhood is familiar with. If weight loss is part of a positive goal you're doing for yourself, then glitches in the process are just more obstacles and inconveniences.
If you think of yourself as a failure or as a fat person, that's probably where you will keep finding yourself.

Try Weight Watches, its great and your not alone in trying to loose the weight. Perhapes you can have a friend join you. great support group. I've been there and I know you can do it too. Its a every day battle but with your strong wil power you can make it happen. Don't do it just to loose weight, do it for that and a life time change in your eating habits, that the key right there.

first is to relize that a lot to do with wieght is habit. Make a few changes at the time. You already know the ones just make the habit to change one or two at the time. Insted of getting a coke get the diet. Let this be natural to you before you try 4 or five other things. The things you eat just try and make good choices and look at the time you don't as a trat and keep going. If you put a little exercise in your routine it will be come more of a habit too. For the walking and loosing wieght it is good to have 2 friends trying also so if one don't fel like doing something the other will. Do not try to out do each other either just try to loose evenly betwen yourselves. A little support will go a long ways.

Taking a good look at your body in the mirror every day does help. Wear some tight stretchy exerciseeclothes rather than being naked in front of the mirror. Also wear tight jeans instead of lose ones, or tight whatever it is you usually wear. When your waist is constricted by your pants you may find you are less interested in eating, as eating will make the waistband even tighter.
