no where in the bible does it say that the world is 2000 years old. If that were the case the world would have only began when Jesus came, but the bible is older than that so you must have bad information from someone.

The bible is a work of theology - a subjective way of looking at reality. It is not a scientific meanurement of reality, and attempts to make it so generally fall flat on their faces.
Dinosaurs, as best measured by science, the most objective measurement of reality, date to more than 65 million years ago, and for long before that.
The earth itself is about 4 to 6 billion years old, accroding to the best estimates.

You have to remember they told time on different scales, and a minute was not exactly the sixty seconds it is now. The different Kings set time to suit them, and it was never uniform across the world. Time was not unified until the creation of math, and mathematicians figured it out...There is no true way to tell how old the world really is.

I can not help, as I believe scientific dating of rocks, objects as accurate. The planet and space dust, rocks are very very very old.
I can talk here as so far no one will be in my face, only thumbs down me.
Religion and human records are fine up to a point. The years before we could write, we sat and listened to the elders and old lore teachers and today question their time lines. What do you expect - accuracy in the face of making the local king mad? So stories reflected who was in charge. In Egypt - they destroyed all evidence of out of favor men and women. Changed the sex of a queen to king to match their agenda.
Most science is free of mischief, and agendas.
Please rethink looking into the advances humans have made. Many good people with the help of GOD have worked hard in determining the time line of the Earth, and fossils, etc.
Many scientists are very religious and are hurt to be called faker in the light of all they have learned by hard work.
I'm very happy not caring how old the Earth andI am, I am busy enough trying to live as Jesus wants me to.

I believe Christians believe (or at least its in the Bible) that the world is 6000 years old. But I'm not 100% sure on that. Either way your question is still valid!

The bible doesn´t say how old the world is.
The dinosaurs were probably there, and use to make big turds to fertilise the earth.
