i have a really annoying issue...I'm 12 and quite tall for my age. This boy that I go out with i realised is like half the size of me! I said yes to him cos he's the sweetest boy i know and i dont want his height to stop us from happening. But whenever we hug its sooo awkward...please help???

i have a short boy friend to. it doesn't fase neither of us because we don't mind it. if you think its akward then i guess you can try to work it out by thinking of how great he is. if u really like him height shouldn't matter so good luck!

Don't worry. Boys tend to hit puberty later than girls. Just wait a few years and before you know it, he'll be as tall as you or even around the same height.

its ok. although awkward relationships are... awkward.... that's what the relationship process is all about- getting to know what you like and don't like.
however, it may be unwise to break up with the kid jsut because he is so short- that's a kinda shallow reason...(opinion) and you should/should not date him based on how you feel about him.
-is he nice
-turn you on (appropriately, at 12 years old)
-feel the same way about you, as you feel for him.
and you are 12, so you have the world in front of you. or below you. so try it all out, but be fun, smart, and safe.
and don't feel the need that you HAVE to have a bf/gf

bend down a little more! jeeeeez does this really have to be an issue? i'm sure he's sensitive about it too, don't make him even more uncomfortable. he'll shoot up pretty soon anyway, you guys are only 12, he just hasn't had his growth spurt yet, and then you guys will fit better hugging. just let his height alone, yikes!!! i feel bad for him

Don't know the age of the guy, guys usually gain in height around15 to16 years of age.

That's cute....but don't worry about it...he's not finished growing yet. Girls tend to be taller than boys around that age, but later on they just "shoot up" like a tree...way past you. Don't worry about it though, just have fun while you can...

Ask him to do hell lot more sports. This is the growing age. Can also do more pull ups and i hope he grows :P.
