Drinking spirits straight (or else in ice or with water)?

Flavored rum, of course... coconut is always nice and has less alcohol than other liquors.

Pear brandy... very cool, though not cheap.

Glenfiddich or any higher quality scotch. But sip slowly and use serious moderation.

A high-quality bourbon (Better than Jack) can also be very smooth, but again, not cheap.

Chocolate and coffee liquors only have 20% alcohol and are lovely for sipping (or in coffee).

Try a Harvey Wall-banger, Vodka, Orange Juice and Giuliani. It is a Italian sweet liquor and the taste is just great. I hope I spelled it correctly.

I don't know what your "etc." means, but how about some gin? Mixed with Squirt a great drink.

Or an old favorite of Captain Morgan's and (Diet) Coke. Don't forget the limes....

Midori and Malibu is a really good drink. You won't even know you're drinking alcohol...until later.
