I mean all the people who go to hell according to your religion if you believe in a religion with this concept (Christianity or Islam). I know what the religions teach, but do you really feel in your heart that these people deserve it? If they suffer in their life on earth, do you feel sorry for them or do you think that anyway that is nothing compared to what they really deserve and what they will get after their death? Have you ever known a person you liked and who you considered a really very good person, but who will, according to your religion, go to hell because of "wrong" belief?

No, no, NO!

We hear about some poor person who died horribly after being tortured, or after suffering painfully from disease such as cancer or AIDS, or a baby who dies painfully, and any decent human being says "They didn't deserve that..." But God, according to the Scriptures of various religions, thinks they did. According to the scriptures and Christian/Jewish/Muslim belief, He knew about it, He could have prevented it, but He chose not to. Disagreeing with God might be evil, but speaking for myself, I would have if I could have. If that's evil, so be it.

So it seems that God is not as caring about humans as we were led to believe - assuming you accept a literal interpretation of the Bible. So perhaps that is why He (and some of his followers) are so insensitive to the suffering of humanity, and would condemn even good people to eternity in hell. In His viewpoint, apparently, they do deserve hell.

I do not believe that anyone, let alone loving, charitable people who have not followed a particular religion's doctrine (such as saying the "sinner's prayer") deserves an eternity of torment. That is one of the reasons that while I remain a spiritual person, I no longer identify myself with organized religion, including Christianity.

The Bible says not to judge unless we want to be judged accordingly. I'm a Christian who doesn't beleive in Hell as a fiery torment, but as the grave ( Revelation 20; 13 and 14)

However, the whole time i've been on earth, i've never heard anyone say someone went to hell at a funeral. Not even after the fact.In fact, almost all, even when that deceased person never practiced being a Christian, claim that the dead loved one went to heaven or that God took them. Check your local obituary. Preachers don't even talk about it as much in their sermons, not like in the old fire and brimstone days.

The only people that i know who don't have a chance is those that commit blasphemy against the holy spirit ( an unforgivable sin). Since i don't know who those people are, i just need to worry about myself.

All men are without excurse. Romans 1: 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: The Lord Jesus had to leave heaven glory and become a man so He could die for your sins. He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. All you have to do is believe and trust in that but reject what He did on the cross and you will send yourself to hell. Yes you really deserve hell if you reject what He did for you. He did it all. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

I dont really like the set standards of religion so I answer my own questions. I think for the things your do equal the punishment you get. As in the diffrent levels of hell. Of course the lower levels are the worst ones. But there is also another way out. Limbo it is where spirits and souls walk about with no escape untill they can decend into Heven or Hell. Try it answer your own questions. If the religion is a good one they will let you answer your own spiritual questions if you feel that you are up to it and that if it is logical.

Who are these people? We all deserve hell. All have sinned all fall short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death. Not the death of the flesh but of the soul. Eternal separation from God.
God has chosen those who would not suffer this from the foundation of the Earth.

According to the bible , there are no Good people.Man is only good in the eyes of man.

All will suffer hells torment that are not under the blood of the Christ.

Jesus said "I pray for the world, not the whole world, but those that thou hath given me, I shall not lose one.

Some will escape, but not because they are good, but because God has put it in their hearts to follow them and had sent the Christ to die for their sin.

Jesus said , "In my Fathers house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you."

Do I feel sorry for them, Yes. But only the chosen will respond to Gods word when they hear it.

They know who they are are and don't fear death.

I'm catholic and i'll admit, somethings i feel people don't deserve hell for. But at the same time, i know that God is mercefully and only sends the people who truly deserve to go to hell to hell.

I don't know who's gone to hell or not.

In my religion, alot of people are going to hell. That's why i want to switch.

EVERYONE deserves Hell. It is the absence of God. EVERYONE has rebelled against God in his or her own way. Nobody is perfect, they cannot even live up to their own standards let alone God's standard of perfection.

God graciously chose to provide a Way for people to escape Hell.

God is Perfect. God is Holy. God is Unchanging. That is who God is; that is His character. God cannot allow sin into His presence because it would change His character.

God lovingly chose to provide a Way for a person's sin to be covered, removed, to be remembered no more by Himself.

It is each individual's personal choice as to whether or not to accept that Way.

There are 2 ways to live.

Nobody deserves Hell. Which is why there isn't any Hell except the one we decide to make for ourselves. Everything we do affects everyone else. Both scientists AND sociologists will tell you this. So once we realize when we hurt others we hurt ourselves we will stop doing it. It is a lesson everyone CAN and WILL learn sooner or later.

BTW, the definition of "Sin" is simply "Missing the Mark".

First I do not nor am I capable of judging who goes to hell. God is righteous and we are not. God created our abilities to reason and judge our ability to do that comes from him but our ability is imperfect and his is perfect. Now as Christian I know that not only those who die in thier sin are not worthy of the kingdom of God but all are unworthy. The only difference in any man is the atonement God provided through Jesus Christ. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Understanding what hell is and who is going takes spiritual understanding which comes only to those who seek God and come to know him. Understnd first that God is righteous and it is not his will that any should perish he came to the world and overcame temptation and remained sinless and was tortured and died to prevent anyone from missing an eternal life with him.

The problem is that there are only two places: Heaven, and not-Heaven. Heaven is God's home. Would YOU allow just anyone into your home? Or would you only invite friends? Why on EARTH would you invite someone who professes hatred for you in?
