Of course. I'm in my twenties and have gone to visit my grandmother that lives out of state for two weeks every summer since I was six and still do. I also visit at other times in the year. I talk to her on the phone every week too. There's nothing bad or shameful about being close with your extended family. I think it's a great thing.

Yes. It shows that you've been brought up to really honor and spend time with your family and are a genuine person. There's nothing wrong with it.
The only time "spending large amounts" with family becomes a problem is if there is incest going on. I'm pretty sure that's not the case for you and I applaud you for having sentimental family values.

if its a close family, then i would say yes, i would if my aunts and uncle all got along and they didn't drive me crazy, and my grandparents, well i mean i'd still h ave a life but i wouldn't want to have it on my conscience if somthn happened and i spent no time with them

there's nothing wrong with loving your family. you should especially spend time with the grandparents, they won't be here too much longer.

Why not? If they are good people and have something to say to you, it can be great. These people are great resources you have in your life that you will never have again after they are gone. Why not enjoy being in their company?

Ya, it means you like your family there is nothing wrong with that, unless you have no friends your age and they are your substitute for having no friends. Then it would be weird!
