I'm not talking about the approx. 3" diameter ones. These should be cupcake size.

Also wondering, is the refrigerated roll-out pie crusts the kind typically used for pumpkin pie?n I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll probably have to make them the size I need them, but I'm wondering if I'll have to make them myself, or if the refrigerated kind is the right kind.

I have a similar task at hand.

First I was going to check the supermarkets and costco, smart & final type places..

If that didn't work, what I has thinking of doing is using the refrigerated pie dough (not the one's already in the pie pan, the dough that comes in boxes near the eggs and biscuit section) and cutting them to shape using a paper muffin cup as a pattern.

I plan to experiment whether I should put the pie dough in muffin cups or directly into the muffin pan... and whether to bake them blank or just fill them and bake them.

Aw, have some fun. Let the kids help you. Experiment with different size bowls and cups to get just the right size and then cut them out of the big crusts. They'll be talking about it all week.
