You don't need a church. I quit when they made democrats feel bad. Also I take viagra on saturday nights, and can't sit in a pew Sunday mornings.

Everyone needs a religion, but without a relationship with God Almighty it will be an empty religion.

God is only angry with sinners.

Christianity is NOT about pacfiying an angry God, it is about accepting reconciliation to a loving God who wants to be your Heavenly Father through the sacrificial gift of the shed blood of God's One and Only Begotten Son.

There are two ways to live.

Sorry for all the abuse you are getting, everyone has the right to worship or not worship as they believe. The type of petty bickering you are seeing here is making your point for you. Find a people you admire and follow their religion. By their works ye shall know them

Hmmm, can you just change beliefs like that??? Surely it'd be better to find a religion that fits your beliefs not change your beliefs to fit whatever religion you choose?
Do you have any beliefs that mean you cant be Christian and would give us a clue to what path may be right for you?
ie, you believe in a God, what about a Goddess? Or anything else? (Sorry about the example but can only speak of my beliefs)
Is there any particular point you dont like about Chrisianity?

A religion is not a club, where you chose what you like the most. I recommend a psychologist first to help you to find yourself before try to look for something else.

BTW, I am catholic and I try to be neutral.

I have the same question in mind as Hugo, maybe for other reasons, I don't know. I mean, you say: "I believe in God, but I don't want to any more". It just doesn't sound logical, Unless you think believing has nothing to do with the mind. Either you believe He exists, or you don't.
What if I said, "I believe trees exist, but I don't want to any more".
Perhaps you want to say, "I don't really believe any more", or, "Yes I believe, but I want to turn my back on Him" . Is one of those what you mean?
If it's the first, I can't help you much. You already don't believe. If it's the second, it's very simple:
You just say: "You're the ruler of the Universe, my creator, who has given me every good thing I have, but I don't want to have anything to do with you any more." Or, "You loved me so much you made yourself man, dying for my sins, bearing my deserved punishment for me, but I don't want any of that, I don't want you in my life."
If that is what you mean, then tell Him. If you really can.

Well, I'm glad you're going to stop believing in "god", maybe you'll give God a chance. And its specifically not pacifically, unless you're referring to the ocean.

You are not quite correct. You never believed in the true God. Maybe a false god but not the true God. Only those He calls to Himself in Christ through His Spirit can believe in Him and none of them would ever leave Him after knowing Him and His love and He will preserve everyone of them. So it is not possible for you to say that and have been one of His true children.

I think any religion you choose has some kind of God. If you don't want to believe in God, then joining another religion won't solve your problem.
