No, pride is what does that. Being intellectual is having an above average ability to understand complex ideas. Knowledge is power and sometimes this power can corrupt. Being intellectual is not the main cause for overconfidence, it's the inability to be humble, pride causes this and anyone can be affected by pride, it's a personality flaw, not a flaw in intelligence.

Questioning what constitutes an intellectual weakness is intellectual weakness. Everything else is not weakness, but deficiency.

it depends. extreme ********* blocks other's opinions and ideas. Humble people are more amiable anyways.
