That make at least 14 Koran!

Many people translate Koran to English, such as Abdul-Hakim Khan in 1905, Mirza Abul-Fazl in 1911, Mohammad Ali in 1916 and Abdullah Yusuf Ali in 1938. Another translation was published in 1930 by a Western scholar who accepted Islam: Marmaduke Pickthall. They make different translation so people read it more easy.

Spelling no matter as long as pronouce is same. I see Mohammad name spell 5 different way by Muslims. I spell Koran and you know what it is. Motombo is correct!

Originally there were many versions of the Qur'ans, being an oral traditions it passed from mouth to mouth. Abu Bakr, the first caliph of Islam, collected the disparate oral versions and compiled the first written version.

Don't make me laugh. U quoted a non-Islamic site to tell Muslims a fact about the Quran?? Would U accept a fact about the Bible from me or an Islamic site???
If U know Arabic and CAAAAAAN read all the copies Quran in the world in Arabic, find a difference, only then you have a right to post this stuff up there.

It seems you are confused for a great deal. Translations of the Quran are actually are just translations of its meanings and sure their will be variations but the whole Quran in its first and final Arabic edition in full unchanged and fresh after 1400 years preserved in both written and memorized forms and accurate to the level of the letter. Where is the original Bible in its original language as revealed; I think no comparison can be done.

When we talk of QURAN then we mean to say the ARABIC TEXT of Quran(NOT Translation of the holy book) and that is ONE and ONLY one ~ with slight difference in writing styles.
In QURAN, Allah (swt) says the meaning are like ,' we revealed the Quran and we will take care of that'.
Similarly! Recitation of the same TEXT of Quran is different styles and dialects (Tajweed, Tarteel, depending upon the capability of the person reciting Quran.
Moreover, it much depends on knowledge of Arabic language as well.
But in all cases the QURAN is only ONE QURAN (same Arabic TEXT ~ without any difference).

There is only one Quran produced and it created by Allah. It is written in Arabic and translated other languages to give better understanding what is Quran ia all about...the word is 'translate'..dont you get it?? it was not been adjusted in anyway to suit the lifestyle of today and not like the new testament/bible of the present..it has been corrupted for so many times and end up with Christian witn so many sect and they even dont really know exactly was jesus is God or was he the second god or was he only the son of god..

too confusing..unlike in Islam..simple you believe in only One God that is Allah and Muhammad(pbuh) was His Last Messenger.Fullstop..Final..Religion was suppose to guide its follower to a correct path..but your religion is rather confusing..

There is only one quran whether u pick it in arab, asia or west , its not changed, Well thre are many translation depending upon the langues and one's way of getting it, but basic quran which is in Arabic is unchanged from the era of Muahammad(pbuh) till now, just give it a try , you will never find a single change in it, its a challenge!!!

1st it's called Qur`an and there is only 1 book it's all the same same arabic text hasn't been changed maybe the difrence is only at the translation depends of the knowledge of language of the translator but it's still gives the same meanings just the choosing of words is diffrent
