KEEP YOUR DISTANCE AT Thanksgiving...IF POSSIBLE...so she doesn't start her CRAP...AND MAKE YOU MISERABLE...BY THE WAY...this is personal, but only family knows...she is on lithium...sometimes she acts fine...other times she is vicious..either way, since i do know this for a fact and i have been around her long enough....she KNOWS WHAT SHE IS SAYING, DOESN'T SHE???? i feel she does!!!

If she's on lithium sounds like she is probably bipolar. No big deal and it does not mean that she doesn't know what she's saying, trust me, she does know what she's saying. Chances are she doesn't realize it's hurtful. Keep your distance but still be friendly about it because if she senses you're doing it on purpose she may attack you in spite.

You have no obligation to visit. It probably is best to keep your distance, unless this person is your mother or grandmother. Then you should respect their relationship and put up with what you have to....keep in mind that this person may not be able to control what they are doing or saying.

Yes, you can love her from a distance. She may not know what she is saying but that doesn't mean you need to offer yourself up for abuse time after time. Forgiveness does not mean you have to continue to make yourself a target.

related or not, there is no reason to be around someone u don't
like or get along with. if its her house don't go, if its yours don't
invite her. its your holiday too enjoy it.
