Yes you can walk on a bridleway or ride a horse on it hence the name bridleway.

We do not call them bridleways where we live we call these trails, dirt roads. We walk on them lol!

A bridleway is a bridleway - a footpath is a footpath - sometimes they converge, but you can't assume that you're allowed to walk on a bridleway.
Remember that an awful lot of footpaths are on working farms - respect them, please.

Cyclists and walkers can use them, beware though as some are quite narrow be prepared to give way to a horse!!

You can walk on them, if some stuffy **** on a horse complains punch the horse in its nose so it bucks them off.
