Pain of that magnitude should not be ignored. Take him to casualty and tell them you're not taking him home till there's an explanation.

Go again!! And make few checks yourself: what is age of your son? Any extra symptoms? Where the pain localised? I did have similar with my daughter recently. 3 days in hospital and no answer. She did have a high temperature is well. Suspected appendicitis but ,lucky enough, not. I was looking what it could be. Spasm of the digestion tract may be possible

Rita you must take your son bck to A/E again. You need to get to the bottom off this why your son is having such bad and painful stomach aches, giving pain killers is not the answer,it needs to be investigated.Stand your ground and dont move till they give you more off an explanation.Getting pain anywhere in the body is always a sign off something, you dont get pain for nothing. Please take your son bck asap.Good Luck and please let us know what the outcome was.

What kind of stomach pains is he having? It could be any number of health problems causing them... Celiac Disease (www.celiac.com), IBS, Chron's Disease, Appendicitis, Diverticulitis, Stress, Stomach Ulcers, etc... Stomach pains of any sort like you're describing are NOT normal and he could have a serious medical problem. You may want to try the symptom checker at www.mayoclinic.com. I would try to get him an emergency appointment with his doctor. Something could be seriously wrong.

Doesn't sound like there has been a firm diagnosis made yet..Something treatable has to be causing the pain.. killing the pain does nothing for the causation of the pain.

I really couldnt understand your question to clearly, but i will tell you the Pain Meds' can be adding to the pain, They eat away at your tummy. make sure the is plenty of food in the stomache b4 taking pain med's. and as a extra precaution call the doc who keeps giving him med's.. feel better and best wishes.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but I'm guessing that your son has bad stomach pain?
If that is it, have them do an x-ray to find out if he has ulcers.
